Very cool perspective of a Space Shuttle Launch from an airplane. It shows the shear speed and acceleration of the ride to orbit. The video was posted in December 2007, however the last flight prior to that was STS-120 when Discovery was launched on October 23, 2007. It’s not clear exactlywhen this video was taken.

For comparison purposes the Endeavour STS-130 launch on 2/8/09 had the following statistics at 1:10 into the launch: Shuttle was traveling at 18,000MPH, at an altitude of 10 miles (52,800 feet) and 11 miles downrange.
