2-Year Federal Stimulus Plan?

I just spent some time over the past couple of days looking high-and-low and everywhere for the small print from the Obama Administration regarding the Federal Stimulus Plan/TARP when it was rolled out several months ago.

Yesterday on the political “talk show circuit” all of the sudden the Obama Administration was back-peddling saying “It was never intended to be an immediate stimulus plan, it was supposed to be phased in and take shape over two years.” WHAT?? You’re joking right? Really? Oh come on!

I remember the President getting in front of the nation telling all of us that his wonderful stimulus package was the cure to everything that ails us in 2009; it’s only now that the Administration, due to American people becoming fed-up with waiting to have enhancement to their situation and not seeing anything get better, has the Democrat spin-doctors making things up.

We Americans want to get out of this mess NOW; the best way? GIVE US THE MONEY TO SPEND, and the easiest way to do that is via tax cuts.

The other item that deeply concerns me is that the Obama Administration is not happy with the falling price of oil. What?? ARE YOU KIDDING?? Oh that’s right cheap oil makes SUVs and cars of choice for the American people easier to afford and makes it harder to sell (or brainwash) the American consumer on the mini-cars the Administration will be shoving down our throats now that they own 2 of the “Big 3” domestic automakers.

Expensive Oil is one of the key drivers of how we got into this mess in the first place, it was a hidden tax on the world ripping disposable income and discretionary dollars out of the pockets of anyone who uses oil to transport themselves or receive goods and services shipped to them as a consumer…so that would be just about everyone.

What are your thoughts?
