I’m getting very frustrated with my golf game, and it’s not something I can control. About 9-10 weeks ago I suffered a grade 3 ankle sprain to my right ankle (and I’m right-handed for golf). I was on crutches for three weeks and I still have some swelling on the ankle; I’m also forced to wear a lace-up splint for support. Anyways, due to that lack of mobility and still ongoing minor pain (and “shooting pain” if I tweak it), I’m compensating for that in my golf swing…….it’s not going good. I’m now “all arms” and I need to figure out a way to fix it ASAP without creating bad habits for the future while not hurting the ankle and dealing with reduced mobility. I feel like George from Seinfeld when he broke both ankles and it was supposed to be “the summer of George” and he was in a wheelchair recovering. I’m just frustrated more than anything else.
