Chrysler is Bankrupt and the Dawn of Socialism Begins
Chrysler is filing for bankruptcy reorganization and this officially starts the dawn of socialism in America, Justin Winkelman will tell you why. It’s also somewhat ironic that a large part of the reason American car manufacturers could not compete was due to Union related costs, which helped accelerate the circumstances of today; nonetheless it’s the UAW and unions that are rewarded by receiving majority ownership in the company due to the VEBA. Chrysler and General Motors did not create the credit crunch or economic issues that put the brakes (pun intended) on car sales, yet they’re being the most severely punished with the hoops and red-tape they need to deal with. I didn’t see a single bank or financial institution that had to do anything even close to what the car manufacturers have to do. In the end the Democrats and the Obama Administration wanted the Unions to own the companies, now that they have their wish what’s next?
