Celebrity Apprentice News →
I just read on the web the Joan Rivers does in fact come back to compete on next week’s Celebrity Apprentice after she stormed out once her daughter Melissa was fired.  That’s good for the show because the Joan Rivers/Annie Duke dynamic going on is entertaining to watch. I wouldn’t be surprised if the two of them faced off in the final task. The one flying under the radar is Jesse James, who...

FlipCams →
FlipCams are already “big” and now that they have an HD version for around $200-230 it will begin to take off. I have an Ultra model that suits me fine, plus I don’t have a ton of HD TVs to worry about. I introduced this to my Uncle 10 days ago, he bought the HD version at Costco for $200+/-…. he’s completely addicted, and now has everyone he knows getting one.  It...

Passenger Lands King Air After Pilot Dies →
Amazing aviation story from this past Sunday when the pilot of a King Air died at the controls. Thankfully there was a single-engine pilot along for the ride that was able to miraculously land the plane without incident.

Apprentice Thoughts
Nice to see Pierce coming back for an episode/task on the Apprentice. I’m looking forward to him policing and observing Joan and Annie next week. With all the experience Joan has with QVC she should be the front-runner on this task.

2009 Final Four @ Ford Field
In the middle of all of the final action today at the Detroit Athletic Club. Watching the games with lots of friends and overlooking all of the action! I can’t recall when I’ve seen this much energy downtown here in The D. Stadium pictures above and below.

More on the Topic of Professional Language and...
Wow, I think you’re totally missing the point here. 1) The editor will edit out any profanity or off-color items because it’s a business book. 2) My whole point it how does Gary MAXIMIZE his ability to monetize his brand? For him to MAXIMIZE that in the business world he must keep the profanity laced-speaches and thoughts out of the public eye to help his business community value. It...

Interesting Read On the Global Financial Meltdown →
Very well done and explains how AIG and one individual (Cassano) essentailly imploded the financial and credit markets, because everthing that was being sold as a “safe investment” with “insurance” turned out to be a house of cards and when things started to default it all came crashing down.
